New Rite Aid Coupon Policy!

Well, I think shopping at Rite Aid will be a little different from now on. Rite Aid has issued a new coupon policy which officially goes into effect June 1st, 2011 but I do believe I'm hearing from people that some stores have put it into effect already. One big change I noticed is that you can not use a Buy One Get One Free coupon in conjunction with a Buy One Get One Free promotion. You can still use cents or dollars off coupons on the purchase though, but the value cannot exceed the selling price.
Another change is that Rite Aid will accept UP to 4 identical coupons for the same number of qualifying items as long as there is stock to satisfy other customers. This is probably not going to make the folks who clear shelves happy but for those who do not, they'll likely be glad that Rite Aid has more items stocked (my local Rite Aid is forever out of so many promo items!!).

Thanks, This Mama Loves Her Bargains!

  1. I went to my local Rite Aid today and they said that they recently received a memo stating that if a coupon does not scan in it cannot be used, this goes for all coupons. I had several manufacture-Sunday paper coupons that were correct for the product however didn't work and I was not allowed to use them via the manager. This sucks as I will not know what will work and what won't. Any suggestions?
